After 22 years in Supplier Engagement, Jewel Smith has exceptional knowledge in the intricacies of supplier engagement and program transformation. Smith is a recognized and accomplished supplier engagement professional experienced in developing effective supplier inclusion strategies and delivering results. Her core competencies include supplier engagement strategic planning, prime supplier & second-tier initiatives, capacity building, client relationship management, small business liaison officer role management, training, facilitating, public speaking, and arbitration.

Smith currently serves as Principal of i3029 Liron Consulting LLC. She holds a bachelor’s in Math and a Masters of Education from Texas Southern University. She is a Certified Professional in Supplier Engagement and has been a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Certified Arbitrator since 2015. Her accolades include but are not limited to a Lifetime Achievement Award for Supplier Engagement, multiyear winner of Advocate of the Year from various organizations, Extraordinary Woman in Supplier Engagement, Supplier Engagement Helping Hands Award winner, Supplier Engagement Leadership Award, named Supplier Engagement Champion consecutive years, and listed among Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women by Houston Women’s Magazine.
